Mission Statement:
Let's E.A.T is a ministry designed to Encourage, Applaud and Treasure yourself and others. The God idea is to do it for others, but how can you do it for others if you don't first know how to do it for yourself? You must feed yourself first before you can feed others. The best way to eat is through the word of God. Our foundation is the word of God. We are hungry for purpose, following our dreams, working and giving back in the community, uplifting one another, being still and listening to the Holy Spirit, celebrating one another, developing more courage, walking with fearless confidence, treasuring the gifts within, praying without ceasing, and loving ourselves and each other. Isaiah 1:19 (Niv) says, "If you are willing and obedient, you will EAT the good of the land." Isaiah 1:19 (Msg) also says, "If you'll willingly obey, you'll FEAST like kings!"

How It Got Started
I was like WOW God great idea!
Every December a bunch of college friends and I all get together and we have our annual Christmas dinner/fun night. We play games, eat good, and just chat about life. In December 2018, we met at Flemings in Birmingham. Due to the weather, it was minimized so our attendance that year was limited. No worries, we made it memorable as always. Imagine a long table of beautiful brown skinned beauties sitting together laughing and chatting it up. During a moment when someone may have encouraged another, or applauded an accomplishment and built memories that will forever be treasured. I noticed how easy it was for us to do it for others, but for ourselves not so much. God placed on my heart, Let’s E.A.T. If you know me, you know I love to eat! So, for this to be the word I was given, it was pretty hilarious. Daddy God has a supernatural sense of humor. I said YES, and Let's E.A.T was born. I’m so glad God chose me.
