C.A.N.T

You've been chosen for better

It was written in God's love letter

The letter He wrote in the beginning of time

The moment when He had you and I on His mind

In His image He thought of us first

Next He formed us, to depend, rest, and trust

His image is also His mind

We just don't image His reflection, we carry His thoughts

It's in the wisdom of God that were taught.

On March 9, 2020, I asked a close friend how she dealt with situations that she had to let it go, move forward, or stop overthinking. She answered with a lot of valued wisdom. However, one thing she kept saying was "I just can't." I just can't dwell too long on something. I just can't stay stagnant. I just can't. It does something to me I don't like, and I will not choose to live my life like that.

I left that conversation with the phrase "I just cant" echoing in mind. Then the Holy Spirit asked me what is can't doing to your mind? What can't you do? Then it hit me in the gut. I literally C.A.N.T. (Carry Around Negative Thoughts). It was like sipping poisoning on a daily basis. I just C.A.N.T!!

The word can't may mean a list of different things to whatever situation we find ourselves in. Its primarily the word that is often spoke prior to what we may feel weak too. Sis, in this season you really C.A.N.T! You just C.A.N.T! You've come to far for C.A.N.T. You're too strong for C.A.N.T! You're too loved for C.A.N.T! It's the easiest way for us to commit spiritual suicide.

Colossians 3:2 cleary tells us to, "set our minds on things above, not on earthly things." To add to this Romans 12:2 says, " Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is good, pleasing and the perfect will of God.

You have too much work to do to carry around C.A.N.T. No longer will we eat on the food of can't. Today take a bold look in the mirror. Look at the woman you've become. Really look at her and boldy say to her I C.A.N.T and mean it!

The little engine that could said,

"I can't go on, I can't go on, I'm weary as can be I can't go on, I can't go on, this job is not for me.

When his mind changed, so did his words

I think I can, I think I can, I think I have a plan, I can do most anything, if I only think I can.

Sis you can because you really C.A.N.T.

Daddy God helps us change the way we think. Give us a new perspective so that it matches your will for our lives. We can because You did. In Jesus Name Amen
